Vallejo Metal Color is a line of 17 acrylic colors specially made for metal coloring. The colors are designed for the airbrush. The colors contain latest generation aluminum pigments for the most believable look. The colors hold well on plastic and metal. To get the best metallic effect, you should use Acrylic-Polyurethane Gloss Black Primer (77660). Shake well before use and put the drops directly into the airbrush. You can mix and dilute colors directly in the airbrush cup. After spraying, the primer dries very quickly. Dilute with Airbrush Thinner (71261 17 ml, 71361 60 ml, 71161 200 ml) or Airbrush Flow Improver (71262 17 ml, 71462 60 ml, 71562 200 ml). It is also advisable to add 1 drop of Improver Flow Flow for every 5 drops of color to prolong the drying time of the needle tip. Airbrush Cleaner (71099 82ml, 71199 200ml) is used to change the color to a different color to clean and lubricate the gun, to clean the needle and to repair or remove color from the model. The Metal Color colors are ready to use with the 0.2 mm nozzle without dilution. Set the compressor pressure to 0.75-1.1 BAR. Gloss Varnish (77657) in this series is designed for spraying with an airbrush. Dries very quickly. You can apply the color directly, it can be thinned with Airbrush Thinner and for several layers we recommend 30 minutes between the next layer. After painting the colors are resistant to oils, enamels, turpentine and light alcohol abrasions.
